One of the British navy crew held hostage by Iran has had to delay rejoining his ship after losing his passport, it has been reported.
Operator Mechanic Arthur Batchelor, 20, from Plymouth, Devon, was the youngest of the 15 sailors and Marines seized while on an anti-smuggling patrol on March 23.
The Ministry of Defence said on Monday that some of the captives would return to their ship, HMS Cornwall, in the Gulf this week.
It is understood their passports remained aboard their ship during their 13-day ordeal and were returned to their bases in Britain after they were released.
But OM Batchelor is thought to have lost his after it was returned with the rest of his kit to Royal Marines Base Chivenor in north Devon, it is reported.
An MoD spokesman said: "OM Batchelor was due to rejoin the ship but this has been delayed due to an administrative problem."
This man is an embrassment to both the Royal Navy and the nation as a whole. First he whinged about how the Iranian Islamofascists took away his iPod and cried like a wimp when they called him Mr. Bean and now he goes and does this! What on earth was he doing with an iPod when he was on-duty and what is so distressing about being called Mr. Bean?!? This moron looks more like Ian Huntley than Rowan Atkinson. Standards in the British armed forces have slipped if crybabies like him are allowed to join it, let alone allowed to continue to serve in them after making an emotional fool of himself and his colleagues.

He would lose an ass kicking contest to a one legged man, or the former Mrs McCartney
I was in the Andrew for 7 years in the 60's. You were on man's time at 18 and drew your tot at 20. I remember a few weeks ago his Leading Seaman (Faye) offered him a cuddle because he was frightened. What have they done to the RN!!
